WEEKLY HOURS: 40 HOURS

TIME CONDITIONS: DAY SHIFT

SALARY: R9,700 – R 22,000

CLOSING DATE: 25 SEPTEMBER 2024

Purpose of Position

Manual labourers required for new construction site on a contractual basis. You will need to be physically fit and strong. Must be hard workers as this is a physically demanding and strenuous role. You will be required to do various manual labour jobs such as erecting scaffolding, digging trenches, providing assistance to skilled tradesmen, assist with cleaning facilities, equipment and tools. Lifting, pulling and managing heavy equipment and objects.
Very good hourly rate plus overtime

Requirements:

Able to handle basic hand tools such as shovels, hammer, saws and rakes
Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations
Able to take instructions from skilled tradesmen, foreman and supervisors
Be flexible and able to work on different assignments
Get on well with others, respectful, honest and reliable
Must complete assigned tasks in a timely manner

Description:

Stock Control
Despatch
Record keeping and administration
System administration
Able to carry out all reasonable instructions from Supervisor
Pre loading inspection of vehicle for cleanliness and check slides closed
Loading and Sealing of load
Weighing of vehicles axles to ensure legal compliance
General tasks i.e.
Daily cleaning of weighbridge and loading area
General housekeeping of loading facility
Completion of bin stock documentation
Prepared to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
Clean criminal record

Skills and Knowledge:

Computer literate
Basic excel
Warehouse management systems
Medically fit - work at heights
Reliable
Vehicle loading & offloading techniques
Work in a safe manner i.e. Ensure all safety requirements are adhered too.
Prepared to work shifts and week-ends
